RESTORATIVE

Restorative Yoga is the dessert on our menu of classes. It allows the practitioner to indulge in an array of relaxation postures to achieve a calm and focused mind. Students utilize several props (bolsters, mats, blankets, etc.) to reach a deep relaxation Restorative Yoga serves as a wonderful supplement to a beginner and an advanced yoga practice.; Initially, new students may find it difficult to focus on stillness for long durations of time; however, with practice, students will notice increased calmness and patience in their daily routines.

VINYASA

A derivative of Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga connects breath and asana to create an internal heat. Fluid transitions allow poses to flow from one to another developing strength, stamina and flexibility while also calming the mind.

Gentle: A slower paced Vinyasa practice that offers special attention to those less flexible or with injuries, offering variations to the more vigorous practice.

Basics: Vinyasa flow using beginner to intermediate poses. Some demonstration and instruction included.Appropriate for those who are new to yoga as well as those wanting to brush up on their alignment and technique.

All-Levels: Vinyasa flow designed for the intermediate practitioner.  However, this class can be appropriate for beginner through advanced.; Notify the instructor before class begins if you would prefer modified or more challenging postures.

Open: Vinyasa flow with minimal instruction. Appropriate for intermediate and advanced students with an established yoga practice.

Yogi's Choice: A Vinyasa class taught by one of the New York Yoga’s recent 200-hour Teacher Training graduates.

HOT YOGA

Vinyasa Yoga connects breath and asana. Poses to flow from one to another developing strength, stamina and flexibility while also calming the mind. All classes are designed to be practiced in a heated room (105˚F).

Basics: Hot Vinyasa designed for beginner to intermediate practitioners.Some demonstration and instruction included. Appropriate for those who are new to yoga as well as those wanting to brush up on their alignment and technique.

All Levels: Designed for the intermediate practitioner. This class can be appropriate for beginner through advanced. Notify the instructor before class begins if you would prefer modified or more challenging postures.
