Amanda is a dancer and yoga teacher based in New York City. She naturally gravitated towards the practice of yoga after discovering the power it had in helping her begin to 'un-learn' habitual patterning in her body and mind. She is a 200 hour Registered Yoga teacher through Sonic Yoga, and is in the process of completing an extra 100 hours of Mentorship. Amanda is interested in integrating yoga practice into the lives of others to deconstruct how we view and move our own bodies, allowing postures to create infinite space in areas that hold loads of stress and tension. Fueled by breath, detailed alignment cues, and the freedom to move beyond self-labeled limitations, her class focus is guided towards helping each student to gain more awareness of their body as well as the ability to recognize they have the power to transform themselves in each and every moment.
