Originally from Maryland, Mary is a classically trained dancer and fitness enthusiast. In suit with her childhood plan, Mary moved to New York City at 18 and earned her BFA from Marymount Manhattan College. As a dancer, she was fortunate to perform and teach throughout the United States and Mexico. With her passion for health and movement, Mary found yoga and discovered a new level of physical strength as well as a connection between the mind, body and spirit that has proved to continually improve every aspect of life. She became a 200 hour RYT in order to help share with others the lifelong benefits of yoga and a healthy lifestyle. Mary currently teaches vinyasa classes to children and adults and participates in teaching aspects of the 200 hour yoga teacher certification. She uses her knowledge of anatomy and movement patterns to create logical but creative flows in her classes and encourages students to constantly dig deeper and discover more about themselves both on and off the mat.
