Lindsay's yoga practice began on something of a whim! Hard pressed to find a form of exercise she actually enjoyed, one day she passed a yoga studio offering a week of free yoga, she signed-up and after practicing almost every day that week realized she'd finally found what she was looking for in a work out! The interplay of mind, body and spirt you are invited into while practicing yoga was the trifecta that made yoga fun, life affirming, and quite frankly, addictive! Encouraged by one of her teachers to consider yoga teacher training, Lindsay received her 200 hour certification from CorePower Yoga in Chicago in 2012.
After receiving her MFA in Acting from the University of Tennessee in 2016 she moved to New York. Thrilled to have been invited into the NYY family, Lindsay aims to create a class that combines the vigorous practice of vinyasa yoga with the meditative quality of more traditional yoga, her classes work to open and strengthen the body while exploring breath, balance, strength and flow.
