Alessandra received her 200 Hour RYT Certification from Kripalu School of Yoga in Massachusetts, as well as her Prenatal Yoga Teacher Certification through Integral Yoga here in New York City. She will complete her Postpartum Yoga Teacher Certification this October, also through Integral Yoga.
Alessandra fell in love with yoga during her first class at the age of 15, and over the years her passion for the practice inspired positive changes that supported a healthier and much more balanced lifestyle. Most recently, Alessandra chose to leave her career as a fashion designer to become a full time yoga instructor and share with others the beauty and wisdom of this ancient practice.
Currently 6 months pregnant, Alessandra’s daily personal yoga practice inspires the classes that she teaches. Her Prenatal Yoga classes aim to empower and support women both physically and emotionally throughout their pregnancy, encouraging them to explore and adjust to the many physical and emotional changes they are experiencing. She does this by guiding the mothers-to-be safely and effectively through calming breathing techniques, appropriate posture sequencing and restorative deep relaxations.
